A first for everything.

I had a liking to how the large fireworks picture looked in my last blog. I think I'm gonna start doing that instead of avatars.
It's been a pretty happy new year so far. I received my first phone call of the year from my girlfriend Sammie and we went out. I received my first "I love you" from my cousin Betty. Haha. That's kind of random but she suddenly told me it. I received my first hug from Hazel. Okay, Hazel's a stuffed hippo but I don't care.
I must comment though. The weather is shitty for it being new years. It's so cloudy. Though I don't really like sunny days as much as I like cloudy, I would've preferred some warmth for the new year.
With all these new years firsts, I had my first kick ass dream of the year. I had a dream that I was sharing an apartment with Sammie and Betty. The apartment looked too good to be an apartment your average UC student would get though. It was gorgeous. It was so homely too. There was even a fireplace and an open backyard. Okay, maybe it wasn't an apartment but I believed it to be one in my dream. I'm guessing we attended some UC and I had a sense it was either Davis or Irvine. The only other real thing I remember was a knock at the door and our boyfriends were there .. And we took a stroll in the city which seemed to look more like New York City than any other place I would imagine. I don't know, it was just so much fun.
I woke up this morning after that dream thinking "Will I really be able to attend a UC for fall of 2009?" I've talked about it several times before. I don't really have anything else to add but that going to a UC will hopefully show more freedom and happiness on my face. I hate being dragged down being restricted on so many things. Right now, one of my bigger fears is just not getting accepted to any UCs meaning all these classes are basically useless. What would motivate me to work if I didn't get accepted? Haha.
On the other hand, I haven't had a dream about going to community college yet. It's a smart idea I know but I just don't want to stay in fear I'm still gonna be restricted. I look at my older siblings now and they even look like they're restricted. They're freaking old enough to do for themselves really. I don't hate my parents don't get me wrong. I love them very much. They just need to relax. But I never thought about it hard enough to realize it until now. If I just endure for maybe a year and a half focusing on the courses I need, I can transfer can't I? I never seriously thought about it. Transferring is good too right? I just need patience for another year.
In my AIM profile, I keep looking at my goal to enjoying my school year. I really feel like I have messed up so many times already to truly enjoy it. It's basically halfway through the year already. Time flies by too freaking fast when you're a senior. The days are long I know but the months go WHEW.
My parents don't like spontaneous. I'm sorry guys :[.
There's drama in my family. Usually my parents are never really that involved with them but these problems can't be ignored. My direct cousin from my dad's side and my direct cousin from my mom's side are gonna get married. Yeah, it's odd right? Let's just say Vu's mom and my mom were matchmakers. They're not really related though so it's fine. It's just funny how my family will probably know everybody at the wedding. Anyways, seems like the female, Thao, is really rude and it's causing problems with whether or not my cousin Vu should even consider marrying her or not. I probably shouldn't go deeper into that matter. Than there's my nephew who's getting out of hand. He's becoming a really bad kid. The kind of kid who is rebellious and lets their friend take control. He's only a freshman and I just don't know how he's gonna get through high school or even life with the way he's already acting. I hope he gets his act straight. He might get transferred to my school since his parents feel his friends at his school are not good people.

A New Chapter Appears
Oh, what memories have been made for 2008. I will surely miss it. It feels as if 2009 is going to be pretty tough. Not only is graduation getting closer but college acceptances and such will be mailed home by March. I am scared shitless. There's also so many things that I have regretted in the past year. Things I had a chance to do but never got to. I am not blaming anything for why I wasn't able to do whatever but I can assure you there were reasons where I felt obligated. I shouldn't feel obligated anymore. Take a risk, Veronica.
Now I'll list a few memorable things that happened in 2008. I don't think I'll remember everything, but I'll give it a shot and add more when I remember. Some are probably really lame but it's special to me okay 8O!?
- That smelly paint project for Ms. Thomas's class at Ann's house. It was just fun how we always made food at her house.
- Walking to Ann's house every time we had a project with Andy (when we had no car x] )
- I received Muffin on Valentine's Day 8] Muffin's a teddy bear. 8]
- Shunya coming back from Japan to visit. Party at Jason's. I bought him a Volcom shirt that I hella wanted..
- Jason's, Dory's, and Huy's birthday bash with the truth or dare (though I didn't participate). This is where sparks flew for some people I knew.
- Jason's barbecue where I scored a touchdown in football :] Francois recorded a video of us all spinning on youtube. Went back to his house for some guitar hero.
- Making Mimi's birthday video at Mai's house with Mai and Bonnie. Eating random stuff. Being cold.
- Mimi's birthday dinner at Cheesecake with S.O.S. along with taking studio pictures. Taking hilarious pictures of Mimi. [I promise I will never show it to public Mimi but I will still have it 8) ]
- Went to pasta pomodoro one random day with S.O.S. My first drive that was .. pretty far.
- Receiving my driver's license and being able to finally drive myself to school.
- Junior Prom even though I didn't go and went to Andy's house to play wii instead -_-; Though I took pictures with the girls at Oakridge.
- Physics Day at Great America (second trip) and helping Mimi dye her hair red (though I was going insane cause I also got into my first accident .. SH!)
- Senior Ball with the mediocre food (okay not really) and the no dancing. The fun trips running all around the hotel. Dennys at midnight, yum.
-APUSH video with Mimi and Daisy 8]. Playing rock band together >w< Being silly and taking weird pictures. Sitting on her giraffe.
- The random code blue drill where we all went to Lany's house when we were sent home. Going to tapioca afterward and getting suspcious looks from my mummy later that day.
- Graduation and going hectic making .. lays? How do you spell it? Also going around with friends to finish buying gifts. Yellow roses bouquet<3
- Beach with friends. Cold cold day. Double teamed with Andy and won at life.
- San Francisco with Andy for anniversary. Went to Wax Museum and Ripley's. Pretty fun. Ghiradelli ice cream. Rainforest Cafe is highly recommened. It's a nice restaurant. I barely touched my wallet that day ._.
- Great America (third time) season associate. Free tickets from Mimi and Huan. I went on hella rollar coasters 8]. I guess I do enjoy them. IHOP for the first time.
- Great America (yes yes FOURTH time) with the MarVerSam Boos :]. Pictures in Spongebob Theatre thing. Thigh puppets.
- Lany's birthday party. Pwned at rock band. Her family cooks mean mean good food O_O; Trying to catch lany with the camera.
- That whole time span for setting up for the tennis team. What fun :] Being captain and bossing the team around. Haha jsut kidding.
- Dying my hair fuchsia and now it's really faded.
- Beginning of senior year.
- My birthday. I truly was happy that day guys. I'm sorry I let emotions carry me off :[ Thai Food, surprises, and Karaoke
- Halloween dressing up as Mario Kart Gang. Eating at pasta pomodoro with S.O.S. and boyfriends. Going to Mimi's and watched a "scary" movie. Went home early due to SATs the following morning -_-;
- Spirit Patrol and Homecoming rally as well as Homecoming dance. That was some crazy stuff. SOMEBODY was in Irvine.
- Eating at BJ's for the first time for Andy's birthday (yeah I know ...)
- Black friday with Andy and his friends. Getting lost in downtown looking for a bowling alley. Getting lost around milpitas looking for mission lanes. Getting stuck in traffic for Great Mall. Parking three lights away and walking to Great Mall. Eating at Dennys. Going to Brian's house and being jumped on by a huge dog.
- Shopping with Sammie where we drove through five cities. Eating cheap good chinese food. First time eating at Quickly? Meeting flower four.
- Serena's house for Pho Day. Discussing with Allison about our obsession over the Twilight Series. Driving to Santana Row and REALLY walking around for the first time. Received a huge hippo<3.
- Christmas Eve with the presents I've needed.
- And, that's about it that I have on the top of my head.
Well, things I'm looking forward to for 2009 atm.
- Senior Ball with the friends
- Senior Cut Day in San Francisco?
- Graduation :O!
- College ..
- Turning 18
- Going for two years
- Getting a phone
AND finally . I guess new years resolution.
- Don't procrastinate TOO much. It's impossible to stop procrastinating altogether. I'm pretty sure.
- Try not to argue with the siblings anymore.
- Help out around the house more and spend more time with family.
- Eat less junk food.
- No addicting games/dramas/things unless you fully don't have anything else to do Veronica..
- Work out
- Don't spend too much money on food anymore! There was a time period where I had no cash at all due to excessively using money on food!
